Mindpower: How to Use Your Mind to Heal Your Body
Published in Hardcover by Arrow (A Division of Random House Group) (08 May, 1986)
Author: Vernon Coleman
Average review score:

mind power, a book about us.
i first read this book around ten years ago and it completely altered my way of thinking. it gives the reader a guide to explore the many ways that your brain has of overcoming the various physical and emtoional complaints of the 21st C. the guide suggests visualisation of your physical body, and then asks you to send a team of workers to fix the fault. okay, it is meditation, but its meditation that makes you focus on the real, actual events that are happening in your body. it's easy to learn and will never be forgoten. try it and learn how to control your physical side from within. one thought is that we are told we only use x% of our available brain-power, this book will make you wonder about the remaining x%.

Nietzsche as Philosopher
Published in Paperback by Columbia University Press (15 April, 1965)
Author: Arthur Coleman Danto
Average review score:

A sober reading of Nietzsche
There are some wild readings of Nietzsche out there (nothing wrong with that), but in this book Danto works out of the British/American more conservative school of philosophy and tries to discover if there is a logical system to Nietzsche's works. Danto is one of the most readable philosophers out there, and is sensitive to the problems of systemizing Nietzsche. Overall a nice antidote to give to overzealous intellectuals who read a little Nietzsche and then feel qualified to start calling themselves one of the ubermensch.

loads of priest spells
This is a rolemaster sourcebook filled with lists and lists of priestly spells. It is one third of the _spell law_ sourcebook (3rd ed.) which is now out of print. The other two are _of essence_ covering straight mage magic and _of mentalism_ covering psionics. It also includes the various priest based rolemaster professions. It is useful for spell ideas for any system. In particular GURPS or D&D and of course Rolemaster or MERP. For D&D it works well for expanding the list of domains as the spells are categorized by theme with one spell for each level

The spells are clear in what they do and easy to translate into other systems.
